Is there any way of cancelling this message once it starts? Contacting the signaller, shutting the entire train down and restarting it has no effect. The message keeps repeating itself and the train will no longer move. There seems to be no way to cancel this message.

On the left part from the middle screen when the speedometer is located, press the « OSS » or « AWS » depending on the situation then the “BR” button should pop up, press it too to release brakes and by resetting the throttle to 0 you should be able to go.

Thanks for that, I'll try it if it happens again.

Had a trip last night (pretty sure it was TPWS not AWS trip) coming in to Rainham, took a little while to get the traction lock cancelled (after looking up the Brake Release procedure) but the Overspeed audio continued to loop even after the reset and also continued after I stood up and walked out on to the platform (as if I was still in the cab)

I had the same issue yesterday but had other members making me second guess myself thinking I had reset it incorrectly. They kepty pointing me to Dad Rail's Class 700 stream

I watched the stream and he reset it the following way. I havent had to do it since, but I will follow these steps next time it happens to see if maybe I did do something wrong

    1) Put brakes into Max
    2) Press OSS button on DMI
    3) Press AWS reset plunger / Q
    4) Wait 60sec (although on his stream he didnt need to wait this long)
    5) Press BR on DMI
    6) Wait for brake gauge to release / BP to fill
    7) Release brakes
    8) Proceed

I will admit that I was rather ham-fisted in my attempts to reset so might have missed something/done it out of order, but all gauges/screens etc read normal afterwards and the train operated properly, except for the dang audio

In my opinion there is an 'undocumented feature' of the voice over being stuck on if you reset it in the wrong order. In my case when I exited the train, the voice over started playing over the platform PAs as well.....I'm fairly certain that is not meant to happen :)

Apparently there is a way to get the system stuck and unable to reset. Even using the new "Reset Simulation" option in TWS4 failed to fix the issue. I was unable to move the train even though there was no OSS error on screen. Applying power would not move the train, although the power screen on the left would show power being applied to the traction motors.

...And at the end of November the bug is not corrected of course. The only way for me to remove the repeating voice from external camera is to save, exit the game, relaunch and load. Noice.
