One feature I would love to see come into TSW is working DOO monitors. They have clearly shown they have acknowledged this from the bakerloo line with the monitors on the platforms. It would be nice for a new feature that people (may) love, come into the game. Even if this is done with a still image which is acceptable would be lovely or even working monitors which is better. Just having interact-able monitors would be nice such as on the Aventras you can click on a certain camera and it will bring up that camera only instead of showing the others. I’ll post a picture I got from the government website that shows the monitors just in a 710 but for future reference working DOO monitors are nice.
From what I recall the monitors on Bakerloo aren’t functional? They’re loaded with a generic preloaded image. I agree it would be nice to have but I think it’s something that will be quite heavy on resources and impact performance
I think even having a generic preloaded image is better than having them blank. I think I read on another forum that the monitors automatically go to a general holding type screen once the train passes a certain speed - this is why driver operated only trains often don't like to leave when platform staff can't get passengers behind the yellow line. They won't be able to see if someone falls after a certain speed.
Yeah it is a still image on the bakerloo line but it still brings more realism and immersion to the game. But even just a still image on the monitors when arriving and leaving the stations would be nice.
That’s another good thing is well with monitors they give the driver more view of the platform instead of having to poke your head out the window as you’re leaving the platform.
Yea. Concidering they take up a big chunk of the cab. It would be brilliant to have this on the goblin line. Hopefully if it does happen it could feature on future routes as well.
