The Class 73 is a train operated by some of the biggest train operators in the UK such as Network Rail, GBRF & LSL. This would be the first British Electric Locomotive. It can also serve the newly added RHTT services, along with other forms of Test Trains.

Electric Mode MU Class 33/1 and Mk 1 EMUs SR MU system the 4 CEP 2 EPB 4VEP CIGs. Class 73/9 AAR Mu system meaning Class 73/9 can be slaved to Class 66.
