Since dovetail has managed to get licensing from TfW I think a great suggestion would be to have either the Class 756 Or Class 197 to add variety of loco's at Cardiff and future routes that could feature other TfW routes in future. It would be great to have fantastic addition for the 756 as they have started to be in service since november 2024 and it would be great to swap these out for some services on the Cardiff city line also as they would be cool fun modern loco to the linE. I think a fair price for a bundle of these two loco's should be 19.99 GBP or 12.99 each. TfW are specifically rolling these out slowly on the Cardiff City Network. This is a quote from TfW's website Reference https://tfw.wales/projects/metro/south-wales-metro/trains-and-stations CLASS 756 CLASS 197
That Class 197 is one fuggly train. I can see the issue there being similar to the ScotRail 385 on Edinburgh to Glasgow. Tiny postage stamp view from the cab front window, which given most TfW routes have a degree of nice scenery, would spot the experience.
It would certainly be nice to see more modern TfW trains especially the 756 & 197, and to have routes like North Wales Coast and WCML extended or updated. It would be especially cool if they included decent support for announcements/destination blinds/display screens (though this is a bit of a stretch), but I am looking forward to seeing more trains added!!
I hope that we do. Especially considering how they operate on most of the mainline routes out of Cardiff Central now. Even the Crewe to Chester Shuttle and Llandudno to Blaenau Ffestiniog line
