Hi guys! There is a Standard Scenario called "7.32 to Leicester" that comes with the Class 76/77 Locomotive Add-on that I just bought, but the scenario doesn't work. Your first move with a Class 77 is to pull forward to Shunt Point 1, and your second move is to reverse back and couple to your coaches. But you can't, as there is a steam loco in your way. And I found a description of this issue on the TSC Steam forums posted by a community member... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <Begin Quotes> Budge4 When we got an update (must be a year ago now) Sheffield Express was fixed but they broke 7.32 to Leicester. The line that the coaches are on (Sheffield 3) needs to be changed to Bi-Directional in scenario editor (So points will change and you can reverse on to them to couple up. The single line on other side of platform from the coaches (Sheffield 2) also needs to be changed to Bi-Directional in scenario editor and the Steam loco that pulls away at start of scenario can then reverse down that line. Which is what it used to do before scenario got broke Budge4 DO NOT try this in the world editor. If you make a mistake it will alter the route for all scenarios and some may not work at all. Do this in the SCENARIO editor as it will only alter the route for that scenario. Position the view so you are looking down on Sheffield 3 (with the coaches on). Pressing the space bar will scroll the track through five or six, not sure, different properties. One of these properties will be the directionality which is obvious as the track will have arrow heads in the direction of travel (think its 2 presses of spacebar, give it time to change between presses), ie double headed arrows for bi-directionality and the track will be coloured blue, or red coloured with the arrows pointing in one direction. In the top left pop out box click on the select tool, dotted square next to the clock on the bottom row. Find the start point on the track where you want to change and left click once. Now move the mouse till you are at the point you want the change to stop and left click again (you will have 2 little markers on track now). There now should be a pop out box on the right of screen with the properties of the track. Track Direction of running is around the middle of the pop out with a drop down box. If you are looking at changing the running direction to both click on both in the drop down box. The arrow heads will change from single to double and the track will change from red to blue. This is a bit of a fiddley job and may need practice to put the select tool in the correct places, so I suggest you try on a cloned copy of the scenario. Make sure the length of track that you need to change the running direction on is all changed otherwise you will still have the problem. You will then have to repeat for Sheffield 2, then save. I will give you a link to fixed rwp. Don't want you to mess things up <End Quotes> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Me again (KodiakJac)... I'm still pretty new to the scenario editor, and I've been able to change Sheffield 3 and Sheffield 2 to bi-directional, and I've made some progress, but I still haven't fixed the problem, as I'm not sure what distance in both directions to change Sheffield 3 and Sheffield 2 to bi-directional. And both tracks run through a bunch of junctions, making it more confusing as to the distance to make my changes (up to the junctions, or beyond the junctions, and if so, then how far, etc). So far, the steam loco blocking my path to the coaches now takes off as soon as the scenario loads and it moves down the tracks several hundred yards and stops. But it doesn't reverse onto Sheffield 2. I'm able to move to the first shunt point, but when I reverse, the auto junction hasn't changed to let me onto Sheffield 3 to couple to the coaches. I'm guessing this isn't happening because the steam loco out ahead of me on the track to my left hasn't reversed onto Sheffield 2. Any tips on how to fix this scenario would be appreciated, or if you have it fixed and could put it out on Dropbox or somewhere like that for me to download, that would be great! I would really like to learn how to fix this scenario, and if you give me a fixed version to download, I will not only be able to run the scenario, but I can look at your bi-directional track changes and compare them to mine to see what I've done wrong and how these auto switching junctions work. Thanks!
