The route is set in 2015, before those trains started on the route.

The weekly ‘we need Class 800 on GWE” thread doing the rounds. But you’re new to the forum so you’ve got an excuse ;)
    A couple of points:

    1. Class 801 don’t operate on GWR. Only 800/802. 801s (along with 800s) operate on the East Coast with LNER.
    2. What do you mean “there should be?” This route was made a few years ago and is based on 2015/16. So whilst I agree Class 800s would be a nice addition despite the time period/lack of electrification, you can’t say Dovetail have made a mistake.

While we're at it why not FirstGroup 802s and 397s on NTP? They would look so at home in old pre-rebuild Manchester Victoria!

For the Class 800 and 802, we will likely see them at some point (very vague) in the future on a different section of the GWML west of Reading if it were set in current period. It is a popular request and may well happen but we'll have to wait and see. Likewise with the LNER Class 800 and 801 and NTP 802.
