Hi, hope some here can help me. Just done a run on the 86 start up no problems, gained some speed, kept out of the RED power section, and then about 10 mins into the run lost all power, not able to increase or decrease throttle. Help please as this has happened before and lost in what is going on.

At a guess you went through a neutral section without reducing the power to 0 first? You can either recover it (There is a button to reset, can’t remember exactly which one but I think it’s the Pantograph up). Or coming into a neutral section, run down to 0 power wait until you go through and then power up again.

I have pretty much learned where the neutral sections are now, but it can still be tricky on a night drive spotting the advance boards with little ambient light and 1980’s BR loco headlights were designed for the train to be seen approaching not to enhance the driver’s forward view.
