After a superb recreation of the Class 68 locomotive, the next in line is a locomotive that has changed the way DRS deliver superb fleet performance and that is by using the superb Class 88 unit with it's electric capability and last mile diesel engine. It would be great to see such a modern and iconic locomotive in Train Simulator especially after the Class 68 was such a success. The amount of possibilities to run the locomotive are huge, with the WCML Trent Valley being a prime location to run the train out of Daventry up to Stafford as well as WCML North from Carlisle up to Mossend and even over the iconic Keith M Ross WCML Over Shap route. I believe the creation of this locomotive as a standalone DLC for the game would be great and there would be a large following for the type.
