First off, THANK YOU for bringing my home route to TSW4. I will beta test the hell out of it on PS5 if it gets me on it sooner!!! I own nearly every map, and this one is the most excited I've been! I grew up watching trains at Northgate, on the waste land at Lincoln Road bridge end, before they flattened it and built a car park for the station. Class 43 Inter-Citys were the catch of the day, until they electrified the line maybe late late 80s. Then the Class 91 "Electra" - as my friends Dad called them - came along to make use of the overhead power, and we bought little train spotting books to try and catch them all! James Bond (91007) was a regular passer by! This train was right at home on this line through the 90s onwards and still run to this day (not sure if they are in full service or it was a heritage unit we saw recently). Also, separately, Midland Mainline is fantastic. But what a missed opportunity to have it terminate either in Lincoln as it does in real life, or at least come as far as Newark Northgate! In the 90s select services would call at Newark Castle, cross the flat crossing heading for Lincoln, but stop at a signal right next to the Severn Trent Sewerage works, cross the tracks via some points on to the Lincoln to Nottingham side of the track, and from there head back Nott's way just a few metres before a further set of points turned them under the bypass and down to Newark Northgate Platform 3. The train would take on passengers then continue on to Lincoln, exiting Northgate back the way it came. I'd love to see this as an expansion of MML, or maybe a separate route. East Coast - Nottingham to Grimsby. You will already have built a couple of big stations in Nottingham & Newark Northgate. I think it would be fantastic for the branch from Nott's to Lincoln & onwards to be playable too. 3 fantastic DLCs that all connect with each other would be special!!! Cheers ❤️
