Haven't all the routes been updated to use the immersive control system cuse scenarios on preserved collection still force u to use the classic controls I thought they had made it so u could use any control scheme u like eg great Western express, main spessart bahn
I think it's to do with the way the scenarios are programmed, you need the classic controls to complete some of the in game tasks. Someone else maybe able to explain better but I think there is a thread on it somewhere!
