Out now on Steam! The DB BR143 V.2 loco packs high detail and realistic passenger operations on the Frankfurt – Koblenz route. Development of the BR143 began in the mid-1970s as a response to rising fuel prices. It began operating across the network in the early-1980s and quickly proved its worth, with production not ending until 1994. The type survive on the main line to this day, having taken on numerous different roles over its lifetime, including hauling RE (Regional Express) trains. Thanks to developer VirtualRailroads, this new and highly detailed recreation of the BR143 is now available on Steam, with a set of realistic scenarios for the Frankfurt Koblenz route. This is a Pro Range loco, meaning it features a more detailed level of simulation, including cold starting and setting up the ZWS and ZDS modes. The DB BR143 V.2 is available on Steam now.
Can someone explain what Darmstadt has to do with this Add-On? - AFAIK Darmstadt is not on any DTG Route.
I would like to know too why "Darmstadt". In fact no route in the TSC exists who goes from, to or through Darmstadt (no Payware and no Freeware) this can only be a totally mistake by someone who has no idea what he is doing, or a weird leak for a upcoming route. Or is any of the trainsets or locos called Darmstadt? But then it should not called "comes to Darmstadt" too.
It would be more that a small spur. The line coming out of Frankfurt Hbf towards Koblenz runs via Frankfurt Airport and then via Mainz. Frankfurt High Speed is nearer to Darmstadt but still not on any route
Rhine-Main Railway (German: Main-Rhein-Bahn), is a railway line in southern Germany from Mainz via Darmstadt to Aschaffenburg. Also known as Main-Rhein-Bahn. WP sez it is one of the oldest railways in Germany and it passes thru .... Darmstadt.
