If these are manual points in a yard then it is up to the player to check they are set properly for the destination. Fairly standard for a TSW route with yards.
Not standard for a scenario though, which usually has instructions for each stage. I should add that this is a long, tortuous scenario which doesn't tell you to set any points, but on which after an hour and just before you complete it you can very easily run into the back of some parked wagons and derail, failing the scenario. And all because two points are set incorrectly at the very end.
If you access the 2d map, it should be clearly indicated where the switches are set towards the objective and you can change them if necessary.
If it wasn’t for this post then I would have got caught out too. Decided to zoom in on Moss as the final destination and the penny dropped same scenario as read this post some hours ago. agree with both parties here (stujoy also) It’s down to us the player/driver to check. But then again they normally tell us about manual switches etc. Guess we should assume and be paranoid that all destinations on CRR are in need of triple checking. Imagine some are set already and some not. on the plus side the “to the top” trophy popped
