If 2 or more ICE 1's are put in a formation together they clip into each other: If a Class 43 is in formation with something else, the coupler hatch is closed and the coupler model clips through it The Class 43 can be in a formation with other trains with hook couplers, but the front of the Class 43 doesn't have a hook coupler modelled If Class 150 is in formation with another 150, the couplers clip into each other
ICE 1s are not meant to be coupled. it wouldn't even work at all. if you look into the coupler hatch, the coupler is farther back than the last polygen of the ICE 1 model itself. so if it snaps onto the coupler it obviously clips.
thats because the locomotives's external Scharfenbergcoupler reaches far out enough to couple to the ICE 1's coupler without the loco itself colliding with the ICE. I literally just said if you look into the coupler hatch, the coupler is farther back than the last polygen of the ICE 1 model itself. so if it snaps onto the coupler it obviously clips. read, god damn it
One issue here is clearly the hatches arent initialising correctly - so i've made a note to get that looked into. Thanks Matt.
