High Guys, please someone explain ? It appears in a lot of maps / scenarions. I just do not understand why there is a difference between clock time in game and the ETA. I have to focus on ETA if I do not want to fail a stop in a station and ruin the scenario. Is there any possibilty to fix this ?
The stop time listed on the scenario list is the expected time set by the dispatcher OVERALL The ETA next to the clock give you your ETA given current track and signal conditions along with your speed etc It also always reads to the end of any destination zone whereas you can actually stop anywhere in the zone and it still counts
maxipolo12 Look at the bottom of your screen shot and it says Stop at Guildford 3 @ 10.04 in 0.04 miles. You stopped short and the game does not know if you will move the train to the correct stopping point near the signal
Hum. But the real time on the map is 10:02:32 that is why I do not understand why ETA is set on 10:04. For me I arrived 2 min too early but for the game I arrived on 10:04:27
You got to the station at 10.02.32 but you stopped in the wrong place Look again at the picture you posted The instructions say you are supposed to arrive at 10.04 - 10.05 at marker 0.00 At the bottom it says ETA at Marker 0.00 at 10.04.27 You arrived Early but you Stopped Short of where you are supposed to stop - at 0.00 next to the Signal The game is giving you an ETA, Estimated Time of Arrival at marker 0.00 If you stop anywhere but marker 0.00 the game does not think you have arrived
