These three services run on the same track in Southern California. Coaster and Metrolink are used as commuter services running on sections of track between Los Angles and San Diego., running mainly along the coast. Amtrak Surfliner is more of a Intercity train line that runs on the same track

Coaster: Commuter Service between Oceanside and San Diego.
Stops: It runs between Oceanside and San Diego. It stops at 8 stops. These stops include: Oceanside, Carlsbad Village, Carlsbad Poinsettia, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Sorento Valley, Old Town, and Santa Fe Depot. It runs 30 daily trips on Monday-Friday (along with extra two on Friday), and 20 daily trips on weekends.

    Train:
This commuter service uses the Siemens SC-44 Charger Locomotives. These are Diesel-Electric locomotives used by many other US railways. These are the same ones used by Amtrak Surfliner. The passenger cars are Bombardier Bi-Level Passenger Cars also used by Metrolink. They also use the Bombardier Bi-Level Cab car for opposite direction transit.

Why it it should be a route:
This route offers a ever so changing demand. One moment it could be high demand, and the next it could be a quiet ride. The route it takes along the coast would be a new addition to TSW. The Pacific Ocean outside the window would quite an experience. It also offers lots of connections with other rail services along this route. Also uses the same passenger cars as the Metrolink just in a different livery.

    Metrolink Orange County Line:
    Stops: Los Angles and Oceanside
The Metrolink Orange County Line runs between LA Union and Oceanside. All the stops include: LA Union Station, Commerce, Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs, Buena Park, Fullerton, Anaheim, Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin, Irvine, Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, San Clemente Pier (Weekends only), Oceanside. On Weekends, 29 daily services on these 15 stations. On weekends, 8 daily services on all 15 plus San Clemente Pier. Connects with Coaster at Oceanside station.

    Train:
Metrolink utilizes the same locomotives, passenger cars, and cab cars as the San Bernardino line from the previous Metrolink TSW routes. The Locomotives include the EMD F125, and the MPI MP36PH-3C. The passenger and cab cars include, Bombardier Bi-Level Coaches, and Rotem Commuter Cab Cars.

Why this should be a route:
The route offers another exploration Metrolink through southern LA through Anaheim, and Santa Ana down to San Clemente and Oceanside. Along a beautiful route, this offers players to experience a fun commuter experience in California. The train modeling is already done because it is shared loco and passenger cars from the other Metrolink lines.

    Amtrak Pacific Surfliner:
Stops: The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner is an intercity train that runs on the same track as the Orange Line and Coaster at some areas on the track. There are two zones on the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, and I want to suggest the South Zone. This zone runs from LA Union to San Diego. Stops on this zone include: LA Union, Fullerton, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente Pier, Oceanside, Solana Beach, San Diego-Old Town, and San Diego. There are 12 daily trips on the south zone.

    Trains:
This route's locomotive is also the Siemens SC-44 Charger (same as the Coaster locomotive). These locomotives pull the Bi-Level Surfliner coaches and the occasional Amtrak Superliner coaches. They also have Bi-Level Surfliner Cab Cars also for opposite direction transit.

Why this should be a route:
This is a wonderful intercity route that goes from busy city to calm beachside tracks. This route has amazing capacity with its huge passenger cars. These passenger cars were designed specifically for this route Also the locomotives are a cool new addition to Train Sim World.

In Conclusion, I would be super excited to see these three routes come to TSW because it adds variety of rail services on the same tracks, has super exciting scenery, and bring new passenger cars and locomotives while using existing ones too. I would hope to see this route in later TSW 6 or TSW 7 (or hopefully to be released with TSW 6). Thank you for reading this suggestion. For any edits to this please let me know because this is my first formal suggestion.

Coaster is currently a no go due to no licensing from the NCTD.

Pacific Surfliner and the OC line has been talked about, bu there isn't any foreseeable plans from DTG for it, there is someone working on it in the editor section though.

Operates solely with Metrolink and Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner, covering approximately 87 miles of track from Los Angeles to Oceanside. Train Sim World 7 was not in existence until the summer of 2026, as disclosed.
