As it’s generally hard to travel at the moment, for researching for loco dlc I want to suggest to dtg to try linking up with model rail suppliers. my thinking is those companies have a huge wealth of research on different locos that is very similar to the research needed by dtg and I wonder if there is room for a bit of collaboration. TSW needs a fair bit more stock over wider periods of history than is currently available. … model rail firms have been researching that material for decades already. Maybe collaborating could help people into TSW and vice versa into model rail. I realise there are aspects that can’t be helped- sound and physics being among them but in terms of 3d art alone it would save on some research trips and time and might make some good cooperative partnerships in the future.
