Not usually a fan of US content, but would be interesting to see a route which includes the Moffatt Tunnel. Maybe set it somewhere between the 1970s - 1990s?

Well 1st a few errors, the 2 city's you mention do not contain the Moffat Tunnel, the line that serve those 2 cities is the Joint Line, which already has its own suggestion here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/the-joint-line-denver-to-pueblo.19602/

The Moffat Route could run between at least Denver and about Glenwood Springs, which is about 185 rail miles and take roughly about 5 hours (Based on info from America By Rail cir. early 90's) So that would be too far. A better stopping point might be closer to the Western Portal of the tunnel at either Grandy or Fraser (Around 75 miles).

One interesting point on this route on the east side is the Big 10 curve, which has a spectacular view overlooking the Denver area, and has a bunch of parked hopper cars filled with dirt to act as a wind break on the curve.

However this route also hosted a unique Ski Train that ran from Denver to Winter Park, just at the western portal of the Moffat Tunnel. The Rio Grande sold that operation to the Ansco Investment Company in 1988. They ran their ski train with F40PH's till 2008.

Now lets talk about the railroads, from the 1970's to 1988, this was Rio Grande Territory, and was home to the Rio Grande Zephyr till 1983, before the DRGW finally gave up their passenger service to Amtrak. Most of the Rio Grande's mainline power is already in game for Soldier Summit so repeat stock is expected (SD40T-2,SD9,GP9)

After the Rio Grandes acquisition of the Southern Pacific in 1988, this became SP territory, which lasted till UP took them over in 1996.
Not really much to say about this part of SP's history this is when the Speed Lettering Font was adopted, thought the old Donner Pass Stock could be upgraded for this period (Dash 9, SD40T-2, and replace the SD40-2 with an SD40R or SD40M-2 as the SP never owned any SD40-2).

The last years would be the Union Pacific from 1996 onwards, we really don't have much UP stock from the 90's with most DLC locos for UP being either the 70's/80's or the modern times. It could be a way to get a UP Dash8 or Dash 9 in game officially.
