The description of recent community challenge 'Fully Loaded' says it's 150 years since the completion of the CURRENT Sand Patch tunnel. In fact, it was the OLD single-track tunnel that was completed in 1871. The current double-track tunnel was opened to traffic in 1913. The old tunnel could then be abandoned in 1917.
