A game breaking issue was reported in the Technical Reports subforum.

The latest update will cause an instant crash in one of the scenarios shipped with the "Peninsula Corridor" DLC. It is likely that this bug in the dispatcher code affects other DLC too.

Instead of complaining, I took some effort in figuring out what was happening and started the scenario on an older TSC build, where it ran. I went into the editor, took some screenshots and rebuilt the scenario in the current version and could pinpoint the moment that causes the crash by supplying a demo scenario, to support DTG in figuring out why the dispatcher module crashed. No reaction.

    [Removed - Alex: Inappropriate Behaviour]

The TSC forums are, compared to TSW's, pretty quiet - users help each other in here. Still, it seems abandoned by DTG.

I ask for overthinking the way you are managing the forums.

    The thread I'm referring to:

Just a note Matt isn't really on TS1 - he's the executive producer for TSW :)
(I'm not a community person though, so any posts I make aren't official ones :) )

That being aside - I tried it and it crashed for me (although sadly, while If it's something that i can fix (even then if I would be allowed too - I'm now on TSW, I still care about TS1 - but I'm limited to what i can do) - it would just stay on the local server at DTG - I have no control over what is uploaded to steam - I mean i have mentioned to Steve Dark though.

This was directed to the team of community managers. It's not nice to break something and not reply.

I know how to fix the scenario - but it's probably the wrong way to address this. First the code must be inspected as to why it refuses to load this one, and probably others not found yet. And I've submitted a demo where all you need to do is open it in the editor, run your debugger and add the instruction I've given to reproduce the crash.

Thanks for your reply Danny, though it's not your job.

Hello, I want to add to this thread to share some insight, and I have locked it from this point.

Following the major TSC update issues reported on Wednesday afternoon, I know our teams, especially Jamie himself, spent a good deal of the evening hours helping monitor community spaces across all our TSC channels, to raise any subsequential issues that may have come up following our rollback of the update.

In addition, I want to clarify that many of our responsibilities as community managers lie outside of community messaging, so I'd like to ask that you remain considerate of our teams workload. The time spent diagnosing the issues you've raised is greatly valuable to our teams, so I want to thank you and I can see in your thread that TrainSim-Steve has been able to take a look at that this morning.

However, we will not condone targeted messages at any members of our team, I appreciate that the last few days have been incredibly frustrating and I promise all of our teams have been working hard to identify the issues, and communicate changes to you all when we have them.

    Thank you.
