Installed tsw3 for my boys to play on xbox series s and its not allowing any gameplay. We can do the 4 training modules and nothing else. I downloaded the main game and at 7gb surely this has some playable content? Do I need to reach a certain level to gain access to the game? On the quick play menu the options are there but nothing happens when selected, not even an error just a sound. Can anyone tell me why I can't play the game?
You need to install the routes separately. The 7Gb you installed so far is only the training centre, where you can play with some of the trains. You need to open the "My games and apps", navigate to TSW3, then use "Manage" to see the other content you own. Depending on which license you own, you should have some additional DLC to download. For example, if you have Gamepass, you got TSW3 Standard Edition, which comes with 3 routes: Southeastern High Speed Extended, Cajon Pass and Kassel-Wurzburg.
