It would be nice if one day we get the whole Southeastern Highspeed Loop going from London St Pancras International - Ashford International then splitting off to Dover Priory, Canterbury West, Margate and Ramsgate. Then at Faversham we could have the branches off to Dover Priory and Ramsgate. Then the services which are "St Pancras In't to St Pancras In't" would make sense. I'm so sure DTG Could pull this off one day in 2024 in like the summer or something. It would make SEHS the best route in TSW4/5 This would add more Gameplay to the Class 375/9 and 465/9 Which possibly could include more 375 subclasses. And More Class 395 Gameplay. What are you thoughts on this? Because I personally think this would be a super good idea.
way too far bro. it's a nice thought but unfortunately at this point in time it is much too long to be considered, plus matt already said that SEHS has reached the maxium they want, at least for a little while.
Not too far, If they an do a pointless stretch from Peterborough to Doncaster they can complete the SEHS Loop. And anyway they said that with TSC Chatham Mainline, Summer comes along and the whole Chatham Mainline releases
Neither was that a merge nor pointless. While some people complain ECML isn't a horrible route. It's long and not much stopping variety to an extent sure and the sounds are questionable but it's a nice-ish route. I'd actually prefer the ecml we got here compared to london-peterborough because atleast the 801 is actually interesting to drive on this segment. And for TSC the release diffrence between medway and whole route was atleast over 5 years albeit I don't really know the exact length.
petoborough to doncaster is a different type of route to this, as it is high speed with much less high detail scenery to model e.g. stations and likely more area where ai can be used. With the extension such as this, it requires much more research (esp for stations) and, considering the length of the original route as well as the extension it would likely be much too large (this case in data size) and may well require a price hike. TSC is also a completely different game with different requirements and levels of quality (which does allow for massive routes such as the entire ecml) and should not be comparable to TSW in this case.
Why am I yet again seeing someone wanting the whole Southeastern network in one route? It's fine as it is, leave it alone. Also, SEHS was extended (from our perspective) once already.
SEHS was only extended a small amount of miles up to Dartford then a boring bit of track up to Ashford In't. That isnt the whole SEML, Its just the full Chatham Mainline bro. It would add more gameplay and it would bring more people to TSW4/5.
The focus for SEHS was the Javelin and High Speed 1. Once it leaves that line, it becomes a commuter train.
But this dlc isn't the Chatham mainline, it's southeastern highspeed, the focus is the highspeed section not the east kent loop. Also you have absolutely no proof that extended this route again will bring more people to tsw.
what gameplay would it add? As far as i can tell, all it does is extend the services we already have, which are plenty long enough in most cases.
