Hello all, Today I am proposing a remaster of the East Coastway. The East Coastway has age really well and is a great way to introduce players in to driving a train. The East Coastway for me was one of the first routes I remember playing when it released and I still play it to this day as I’m sure others do. The main remaster would contain an update timetable, some scenery updates, feature updates and some core updates. Timetable The timetables currently on ECW are: 1. Orignal timetable with sparse traffic 2. One which was AI generated for the 313. In the remaster I suggest containing 2 timetables. 1. One comprising with just the 377 2. One utilising the class 313 1. Now that the Class 313 has been scrapped and primarily 377/3s being used on the Seaford services. Both timetables would include the following pattern. Just the 313 subbing for Seaford services. 1tph Brighton to Eastbourne (these services now running between Brighton and Eastbourne calling all stations in between) 2tph Brighton to Seaford (these services call at all stations between Brighton and Seaford however 1tph calls at Southease and the other train will call at Newhaven Harbour) 1tph Brighton to Ore services (These services now run semi fast between Brighton and Eastbourne calling at Falmer, Lewes, Polegate, Hampden Park and Eastbourne) 2tp Lewes (London Victoria) to Eastbourne Services (1tph terminate at EBN and one carries on to ORE. They call at Lewes, Polegate, Hampden Park and Eastbourne however the one to Ore calls at Hampden Park after Eastbourne. These services often are bigger normally 8 or 12 coaches. The service to Ore detaches at EBN and runs to Ore as a 4 coach train. There are also RHTT and occasional 700 doing three bridges to three bridges. The update would hopefully also include: TOD4 lighting Update BML 377 with GSMR Conductor mode Scenery updates Southern collectible map
Anyone with specific items, especially for scenery, should be directed to my East Coastway Remaster Masterlist thread. The more details that can be suggested are more details that can be considered if/when the time comes.
