You already have a thread on hand dryers lol. I don't use hand dryers. I just shake my hands and spray water everywhere
I mean… these bloody hand dryers just move the water from your hands to your clothes most of the time lol
I'm feeling sorry for Jan but also... how many question marks you've got to put to make it inappropriate?
Yes, by not using hand dryers I am just being more efficient as I move the water there without the in between. I will take this one to one of those 'up above' at work and see if I can get a cuppa for the energy I have saved the company.
First of all, you have a weird obsession (why?). Second of all, why did you put so many question marks?
Ah right, never heard of one before! I thought Apple just did phones, music thing and the ipads. Thanks mate.
They even made a stand for their Mac! You can buy the stand without the Mac itself for a mere £1000, then buy a Mac to put on the stand if you really wanted to. https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MWUG2Z/A/pro-stand I love this product, purely for the fact that Apple were serious about it!
Are we really at that stage now where people believe that Apple's first and only product is the iPhone/iPad? It's like thinking that the Switch was Nintendo's first hand-held console...
DS Lite, DSI, 3DS, 2DS then theirs XL versions, I’m sure they far out date the Switch I’m not old enough to know about the 90’s and Nintendo without researching, but I’m pretty sure the DS Lite was 2004. I know theirs gameboys for the 90’s but I actually don’t know their owner companies.
First Game Boy was 1989 (there was also the Colour in the 90s and the Advance in the 2000s), the Game & Watch was earlier (1980) but it arguably wasn't a "console" as you couldn't change games. All Nintendo.
Who doesn’t remember being out of breath when blowing into microphone on some games, but it wasn’t working properly
Hahah! Yes, I remember sliding around in the Penguins of Madagascar game as a penguin and doing chalanges and bouncing up and down on the bouncy castle blowing into the mic.
i remember entering championship dog competitions, on Nintendo dogs, what relied a lot on talking to the mic
Are we really at that stage now where people see video games as childhood nostalgia! I mean when I think of games/activities from my childhood I think tag, marbles and catapulting. My first electrical device (that weren't a tele or radio) were a 'small' mobile phone in the 90s and all you could do on it were ring people! In all honesty I have only known Apple as the people who make my phone and before I used their phones I hadn't even real taken any notice of them at all!
We are indeed! The outdoor games and board games that were once (and to some extent are still) viewed as childhood nostalgia, have now been replaced by the local multiplayer experiences of Wii Sports Resort, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, and Minecraft before the hunger bar was introduced. In about 15 years time, online multiplayer will probably be seen as childhood nostalgia! Mind you, I would like to get a multi-night monopoly game going again soon. Only happened once in my life, and I loved it! It's only a shame pausing monopoly is a real pain, but it all adds to the experience.
Late GenX/early GenY here, so I had the best of both worlds. Riding bikes, climbing trees, playing sports, but if it was raining or cold I could still stay inside and play Mario Kart instead (well I couldn't, as I didn't get my first console until I bought an Xbox at the start of uni, but I played plenty of PC games growing up, even pre-386 days)
Im an early Gen Z (Born 2000) my first electronic games device was DS Lite in I think in 2004, then DSI or Wii, Xbox 360 then 3DS, Xbox one original then Xbox SX. pretty sure all were Christmas gifts except the Series X I purchased that during Uni times/lockdown I think.
If this was your first ´PC´ (yes, it had quite a few games) ... ... you can call yourself "old". But I have (grown up) kids and, speaking of Nintendo, we had a lot of fun with the Wii Series. Yep.
I'm more of an Xbox person. Remember this thing? I think I still have one of those lying around, lol.
I´ve no idea what ever became of mine. But if I look at eBay or similar, I regret for not having kept it. They´re still fetching prices around €120,00 to €180,00. Amazing, would you believe that?!
Oldest one I can remember using is an old Osborne luggable, probably a Vixen based on what images I can find online. Was my dad's work computer at the time.
