Many people here negatively evaluated the Frankfurt - Fulda map, that it was boring, that only 15 tickets were needed to check, etc. But for now, what is leading for me is the route London - Milton with Pendolino. They made the departure of the train from London, and then it appeared ...wait to next stop ... but that was the destination of the trip ... so nothing, I sat on the train for 35 minutes and looked around the countryside .....
I heard elsewhere that you can play guard on Blackpool Branches but have seen nothing official here. I guess time will tell...
Blackpool didn't give me the option to play guard mode. Bcc gave me the option but it's bugged. Driver don't move after pressing the buzzer.
Whole conductor mode is useless and unneeded, half-baked waste of development resources just for release PR. Can’t image anyone actualy would play it more than once after trying it. They better should have invest development time to improve release routes or remaster some good old route (RSN, MSB, SKA…) like they did with Nahverkehr Dresden for TSW4.
Perhaps it's not for everyone, but I used to play conductor all the time in TSW2, 3, and 4. I played on the Class 313, the Class 465, all the trains on Northern Transpennine, and on GWE. I loved playing as a guard (even though I couldn't do anything) so I am chuffed to bits to see it come as an official game-mode! However, some remasters are coming (Great Western Express we know of, but Matt said that there's another one) - lots to look forward to!
Conductor mode is something I thought I wouldn't be interested in but I've done a few runs. On a plus note. If anyone wanna run wcml and not spot things to complain about. Hop onboard the 350 as a conductor and you'll miss it all.
I don't know. They other day they wasn't. From what I've been told, in rl the conductor should be somewhere towards the middle of the train when operating the doors. Unless the door controls are in the cab only.
