I would had liked to get Conrail trains with Eire Lackawanna Mainline to Trainsimulator. Really like the paintings. Info about Conrail: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conrail
As a side note, there are a lot of Conrail and Erie Lackawanna things not available on Steam. For instance, Golden Age of Railroading has this Conrail SD7. Railworks America features user-made reskins, and a quick search brings up the CR Low Gondola (for the NS GP38-2 High Hood) and two SD40-2 models, including this United Way one based on a Searchlight Simulations model. As for Erie Lackawanna, GAR has that covered as well with this SD7. RWA includes this GP9, and you can also find this HH660 which I believe requires Maine Maritime (the old Portland Terminal). (If it doesn't work on the Maine Maritime version, there is another possible source model at RWA as well.) So you just have to know where to look. I know I have also made a recommendation for the Clinchfield Railroad model to be created of the SD45-2, and it turns out this and the Erie one are owned by CSX, who also now owns the Seaboard ones, leaving CSX and BNSF as the only operators of them. All three models exist of that train in real life, . We will see if this project ever comes to be. Meanwhile, here's a picture of the real thing from this month. From Elizabeth, New Jersey, here is CR JR-5, which is Erie Lackawanna #1700 (an SD45-2) getting around, tugging a couple of CN locos as helpers, taken on March 6. Image link as it seems to not be embedding and saving.
I guess the New York Division: Bergen Line from Hoboken to Port Jervis would suffice my desires for now, but there's no way I can disagree with more backdated American content.
Yes, since the Pennsy went to Penn Central, which went to Conrail, which was given to Norfolk Southern, however, the route itself is set in the PRR era. And the only DLC for it are either PRR or NS locos. No PC or Conrail (Outside of unbranded C39-8's). But Conrail still isn't happening unless DTG get's ahold of a license from the CSAO.
If you're thinking of the heritage unit, that was probably because of NS. In order to actually have a Conrail DLC, they'd have to make a deal with CSAO.
Yes it was... until it was given to NS. Speaking of Norfolk Southern, sorry to be off topic, but is DTG planning or working on a modernized NS Horseshoe Curve Route for TSW2?
Nope but Skyhook is releasing one next week https://profile.dovetailgames.com/l...ticles/article/railroadings-most-famous-curve
