I'd love for Dovetail to introduce a consist designer for scenario designer. This would allow us to combine any vehicles we wanted. For example, I would do a 3-car class 101, with two of their freight wagond, followed by another 3 car class 101 to build an 8 car train. But that's not all. Any wagon or carriage could be combined. In Australia (and presumably most places), our freight trains are [Locos], fuel car, crew car, freight.
I like your idea. we can even modify the TGV Trainset to be shorter or longer as if you use it on rapid transit the train is 100m too long
Can't forget the railtour formations, loco drags, a 66 with steel, a 66 with tankers, 20's with containers and much, much more
