This should be a simple thing for DTG to deliver... Both CSX-HH and GWE have container trains, and RT will probably have some as well when they get around to adding extra traffic.. So: 1. create some 40' and 50' plain containers (if you can't get a licence for some liveried versions), either rib sided or flat, for some variety.. 2. create some tank containers, as these are becoming more common. 3. allow the containers to be used in all routes (this probably needs them to be put in their own general directory) 4. revisit the routes that currently use containers and mix the stock up a bit, just to break the monotony... 5. for CSX-HH you could then add a double stack with the shorter containers on the bottom and the extra length ones on top... Since you already have some variety in containers #4 should be an easy win. But,notwithstanding that, they're standard boxes, and you've already built some, so it shouldn't be that difficult to create some more. Should it !?! Cheers John
The whole idea of having containers show up everywhere would be really cool for showing the differences between international/ocean containers and domestic containers. In the US, domestic containers are actually taller than the ocean containers, and frequently intermodal trains are either entirely domestic or entirely ocean containers...depending on where the train came from.
