I bought the standard Tramsim for Xbox but now I have decided I should’ve paid that bit extra for the deluxe . I’ve found a ‘deluxe content’ pack on the Microsoft store but it’s ‘not available separately’ , anyone know why and if this will change?
If you tell xbox customer service that you want the deluxe but you got standard by mistake because you thought you could upgrade they might give your money back so you can get the deluxe.
XBox customer support are pretty good for those kinds of refunds. Usually no questions asked, since it means you want to spend more money.
Log into your account at microsoft.com and check your order history. Alongside your Tramsim purchase you will have a "request a refund" option which you just need to click and follow the refund steps. Note: The request option is non-selectable for the first 24 hours of your purchase.
I’ve never had request refused for stating “someone else bought it not me” though I have had my request refused when I stated it was accidental by me cause I meant to pick up a different edition. and be mindful it can take a few days to go back into the bank account should the refund request be accepted
That's harsh. When I accidentally bought the wrong version of Borderlands 3 they refunded me no problems. Well, when I say "refunded", what actually happened was they made me buy the correct version and then reimbursed me for other one....but regardless of that, it was always my understanding that you were allowed one 'no quibbles' refund every 12 months so unless you've already used that perk I can't really see why M$ denied you.
