The year is 2025 (almost), I heard Matt talking about how important accessibility is to him, and yet we still don’t have a basic option like button mapping for controllers (or keyboard) on console. I know every train is different and all safety features are different per region, so it’s almost impossible to make universal controls that work in every scenario, so it would be an idea to maybe allow button mapping per loco or region. For example, if I want to press the Sifa pedal in an ICE I do not necessarily want acknowledge PZB at the same time, every time. Especially on older locos this is mighty annoying. Sifa should just be Circle for easy access and I would like PZB acknowledge to be Square + D-Pad Up for example. At the moment I’m using a keyboard for this so Sifa and PZB Acknowledge have their own separate keys, but this bars me from playing the game with just a controller if I wish to do so.
