    Hey there,

I recently purchased a new Raildriver to replace my old one. My old one worked really good on TSW. This new one however seems to have some pretty bad controller noise. Specifically the throttle and brake handles. Both of them have enough noise that they cause the in game throttle and brake handles to twitch back and forth really bad. It’s not a lot of movement but it’s enough to kind of twitch out of control a bit. For example, if I’m running the Metrolink stuff, the throttle has a hard time staying in notch 8. It twitches back and forth between 7-8 constantly. Trying to set the throttle in the middle range around notch 4-5 is even worse. The brake handle behaves the same way. If I set the air, the brake handle will twitch back and forth even though obviously I’m not moving it on the Raildriver. It’s making it almost unusable which is a shame since I paid $250 for it with the obvious intention of using it with TSW. Like I said, my old one didn’t have this issue so I’m a bit baffled as to why a new one would. You’d think it would be the other way around.

Any ideas of a potential cause and a potential fix? Surely there must be some kind of way to solve this. I am aware of a 3rd party program by Cobra (I think that’s their name on here) that controls Raildriver for TSW and I remember it was highly recommended and had very positive reviews. Maybe this is the way to go moving forward? Then again, if it’s a controller noise issue with Raildriver, would Cobra’s program fix that? Or help mitigate it?

Thanks for your replies and help in advance.
