Conventional French Routes

    The big hexagon is poorly served by commercial DLC. The French routes which are represented are LGV lines which are operationally limited. This is a shame, because there are many conventional French routes which would provide developers with plenty of scope for their skills. The trouble with LGV routes is that once you have driven a high speed train at breakneck speed from A to B and back again, you have more or less driven the lot.
    Here are three suggestions:
    Limoges to Brive le Gaillarde 99 kilometres. A wonderfully scenic route with many twists and turns. This route is still served by proper trains (i.e.coaches pulled by locomotives as opposed to aeroplanes on wheels)..
    Following on from this route:
    Brive le Gaillarde ro Cahors 101 kilometres and
    Cahors to Toulouse via Montauban 113 kilometres.
    There are many more possibilities.
