Cooking And Pak Issue - Potential Lead?

    Hi everyone,

    I was doing a bit of digging around yesterday comparing the command line process using RunUAT.bat with the PC Editor and the Unofficial Editor.

    One thing I noticed is if you call RunUAT.bat with the flag of -list to list all the available commands, you get returned no available commands. I compared the directory the AutomationTool.exe lives in with the Unofficial Editor, which matches. When you run this command with the version of the script in the Unofficial editor, I get commands returned, including the CookBuildRun command we need.

    I did try copying files over and even copying the AutomationTool.exe over from the Unofficial editor, but still got no commands listed, so it suggests something else somewhere is missing.

    I did try copying other files and folders over too including the Source folder, but alas this had no impact. Either something else is missing or something in the compiled UE4 Editor exe is missing that would normally be present in the unofficial editor or the standard unreal engine.

    I hope this helps someone who is going to look into it or the community to continue the investigation and potentially find a solution!

    Yeah its missing from the build I think - it's on the list for the team to review and fix.

    there are some issues, i advice to wait a little for cook pak etc till DTG inform.

    Yep I'm aware. I was doing some digging to aid with their investigation whilst they're busy fixing priority issues :)
