With this thread, I would like to suggest a loco DLC or expansion pack for the Tharandter Rampe Dresden Chemnitz.

    The train
This pack would add a brand-new manufacturer and EMU to TSW, namely the BR1440 Alstom Coradia Continental, both as a 3-car and 5-car version as operated by Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn (MRB).

A video of the train and interior can be found here for example.

    The timetable
This DLC would add a new timetable to the route. Since June 2016, MRB is operating the RE3 and RB30 services we already know with these units. The pack could be either placed close to the introduction or close to the current day, either would be fine. Since 2013, the IRE services we currently have in TSW had already been withdrawn, and since then the RE3 provides an hourly service, although with less intermediate stops. The following services would be run by units from this pack:
RE 3: Hof - Dresden, 1tph, 3-car+5car unit, calling at Chemnitz, Flöha, Freiberg and Tharandt
RB 30: Zwickau - Dresden, 1tph, 5-car unit, calling at all stations between Chemnitz and Dresden
RB 45: Chemnitz - Elsterwerda, 1tph, 3-car unit, AI only

The remaining services we have for this route could pretty much remain as they are, for example the S3 services could be copied from the original route and operated by the BR143 and 2 Dosto wagons. The newer version could be provided by Dresden-Riesa, but this is not necessary I would say. To round up the timetable, Dresden-Riesa could provide the full AI spectrum at Dresden.

    The route
Nothing along the route would really need to change. Chemnitz is already set in the wrong period anyway, and much of the rest hasn't really changed in those couple of years either. If the route is set in 2021 for example, Chemnitz would be perfectly accurate and Dresden would be outdated, so places are switched :) I doubt it would be feasible to copy the modern Dresden Hbf from Dresden-Riesa, but that would be the icing on the cake :)

I would also like to offer my support if this DLC is made. I am local to the route and would be happy to support with reference material :)

Note: The pictures from this proposal are not mine, but taken from Wikipedia and Bahnbilder.de

Make it the Red Deutsche Bahn version so that Tharandter Rampe Dresden Chemnitz gives RRO S8 correct trains. Announcer voice for this one is Claudia Look Hirnschal Silver and Green. Instead of the Deutsche Bahn Red version which uses the familiar Ingo Ruff announcement voices which is what all the existing Deutsche Bahn routes in game use except HMA DB BR423 S3 S-Bahn München Helga Bayertz.

I am not sure I understand what you want to say, some punctuation would be really appreciated.

But no, it should come with the original livery of the route as seen in the pictures above, this is a train for Tharandter Rampe and not RRO, it would be strange to see it around in red. That could be a thing with the livery editor you could do yourself later though, although the units that would run on RRO and HRR for example have a very different interior with them being S-Bahn trains.
And at this point announcements don't really matter since they are not in TSW anyway :)
