Well, this could be a good milestone for Train Sim World as they can experiment with new track gauges Fleet: 2600 Class This train is the usual one you would see on this network, the face of a 150, the engine of a 158, the livery of an ICR, this is the best thing ever! Top speed: 75mph | Livery: Intercity Silver | Learn more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IÉ_2600_Class 22000 class (ICR) This train is quite a bit different from the 2600 as you can see in the photo, built by a car company and quite common along the rail network in Ireland, rarely used as a substitute to the 2600 when a unit is not in use (with alternative 2600s actually available) Top speed: 100mph | Livery: Intercity Green | Learn more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IÉ_22000_Class 2800 Class Looks a bit like a 2600 eh? But it isn't! Very different even! THEY EVEN HAVE ARMRESTS!!! Let me tell you there, a 2 car train in silver isn't always the same you know so watch your naming! (They sometimes operate cork suburban services) Top speed: 75mph | Livery: Same as everything listed | Learn more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IÉ_2800_Class Route: The trains will operate a service between Cork and many destinations like Midleton, Cobh and Mallow stopping at Mallow, Cork (Where all services terminate), Little Island, Glounthaune (where the Cobh line splits from the Midleton line), |COBH LINE: Carrigaloe, Rushbrooke, and Cobh| |MIDLETON LINE: Carrigtohill and Midleton| Cobh station, the southern terminus Midleton (destination boards and signs changed since), the eastern terminus Kent Station (Cork), the main terminus of all the routes included Mallow (Signage changed since but similar), the northern terminus but the MK4 DVT is not included I hope this is all for you, thanks, Sean
Good shout but loco hauled era would be better! My first (and only!) trip on the Cobh line was with a Class 001 hauling some absolutely knackered Park Royal wooden body coaches. Not even push pull, the loco had to run round at the terminus! However I would welcome some Irish content in TSW regardless of era, North or South.,
