The line from Oxford to Worcester is around 60 miles long, and is mostly dual track apart from single track sections between Norton Jn and Evesham & Charlbury to Wolvercote Jn. Worcestershire Parkway didn't open until 2020, so it would not be featured in this route. Also featured in this route would be the branch off to Long Marston, which was populated by GWR 153s and London Midland 350s heading for refurbishment work, the 350s having to be dragged by ROG 37s and 47s due to the line being unelectrified.

    Proposed Rolling Stock
    • Class 180 in First Great Western 'Dynamic Lines' livery[IMG]
Built in 2000, this fleet of 14 5car units capable of 125mph originally ran on services to Cardiff and Bristol before being withdrawn in 2009 due to reliability issues. 5 units were re-introduced to service in May 2012 on the Cotswold Line to free up GWR's 165s and 166s for use elsewhere, with there being 3 booked diagrams for these units during the May 2017 timetable. These units were withdrawn with the introduction of 80x units at the end of 2017.
    • Class 43 'HST' in First Great Western 'Dynamic Lines' livery[IMG]
The HSTs supplemented the 180s along the Cotswold Line, working all but 2 of the other diagrams along this route.

    Layers
    • The GWR 150/2 would add local services from Bristol to Great Malvern, with these being drivable between Shrub Hill and Foregate Street.
    • The Class 166 would add 7 services to the timetable, serving the local stops along the route as well as a service to/from Hereford. It would also add GWR and Chiltern local services at Oxford.
    • The XC 170 and 220 would pass under the line at Abbotswood Jn as well as some services running through Worcester Shrub Hill and Oxford.
    • The WMR 170 would appear on services to Hereford, Great Malvern and Birmingham New St.
    • The many variants of Class 66 would add AI freight traffic at Worcester and Oxford.

Yes please, nice scenic run and still a little bit of single track to navigate. Or set it back a few years before the various redoubling projects.
