PC Coupling The Ice 1

Is the ICE1 ingame as it is couple-able with anything? I know they never ran in double formation in reality, but we have the option to open the front hood to reveal a coupler. Can I tow the 401 with any other loco? Just like sometimes when a unit has issues it gets towed to a near station?
Or is it really just a gimmick to be able to open the front hood?

Good to know. I thought I had seen a pic floating around somewhere here, where it looked like somebody was towing the ICE1 with the BR101. But probably just for the pic

I would have loved a rescue mission with the BR101 equipped with a schaku, dragging a broken ICE1. Similar to a scenario on GWE with a Class 66 hauling a broken HST.

 

Of course it does, but you need a schaku for that, different couplers. You can however couple a 403 with a 423 for an example in game.
