Hi all, Looking for some advice on whether an i3 12100 CPU would be capable of running TSW? I’ve seen that it seems to have good gaming performance for its price, however all the suggested specs for TSW seem to have 6 core CPUs listed which make me think maybe not, does anyone have any experiences using this particular i3 CPU? My current 4690K based system has served me well but unfortunately bitten the dust so I’m looking to get onto a modern platform as cheaply as possible for now, with a view to upgrading the CPU in the future, as the platform should give me a choice of parts from the 12th, 13th and upcoming 14th generation of Intel CPUs. Edit: GPU is a GTX 1070 which I’d be carrying over for now Would really appreciate any thoughts!
As you have a GTX 1070, which is a very capable GPU, I think that you should be able to run Train Sim World smoothly on an i3-12100.
