What is the best lure or method to catch these i haven't caught one since early release. I have tried the usual plastic worm baits but all i get is bass and them ridiculous little pike fish (chain pickerel).
I have over 2,200 fish caught, and not seen one Crappie. I am interested in knowing if there is a certain lure to attract bites from these fish as well.
I've caught only like 3 or 4 crappies. It was when I started out on day 1 with the beginner Rat-L-Trap
Since I’ve been playing the game even tho I’ve not had a really long go on the us lakes I’ve caught 2 crappies and the lure was a top of the water lure if I remember right
thanks for the tips guys it just seems strange not catching many ,as in real life they are usually the most numerous species in us lakes
Only caught Black Crappies on Boulder but top water lures in lily's or the small Crawfish lure just under the surface reeled in slowly.
I've gotten a few using echo silverado and silver blue rat l trap but still get way more bass using these not sure if they got a crappie specfic lure in yet.
try I think its called T fry daddy, but if you are fishing on bassmaster you cannot use anything bigger than a #2. On fishing sim world use the orange one straight out the packet!
The common name (also spelled croppie or crappé) derives from the Canadian French crapet, which refers to many different fishes of the sunfish family.
