Just to let you know I am having issues with the latest update on my PS4 Pro. BCC crashed and I am guessing it will happen to other Uk routes too.
It's related to timetable services, probably related to the signaller as it crashes as soon as you plot a destination in free roam also. Considering this route is getting it alongside ECML, SEHS and MML being also confirmed as crashing, it's safe to say that the entire game is currently unplayable.
Also crashing within scenario mode too. On the BCC, Ill try other routes, but I am expecting the same thing to happen, why cannot DTG test these properly before they are released.
Same for me. BCC, SEHS and the ECML are crashing all the time, no matter if I play the route via the timetable mode or Scenario, its still crashing. I'll update my post if I notice crashes on other routes. Edinburgh-Glasgow is working fine.
Cathcart Circle, and London-Brighton seems fine, it seems to be anything from SEHS onwards so that would mean any routes from TSW3 and upwards are an issue. Gonna try the GWR and anything up to SEHS. BTW I only play the British routes, so I cannot comment on the German or USA routes. But Ill work my way up and see what crashed and what's OK. But it does seem to be anything before TSW3 seems ok and works fine.
Bit of an update. I have gone thru all the UK routes, and the only ones which crash are the Birmingham Cross City. LNER and SEHS, all the others routes are fine.
Appreciate you checking the UK routes. Still cautious about switching our PS5 on, really don't want this bad patch. I can see it being next week before a fix, Friday tomorrow. DTG don't like releasing patches near the weekend??
I've checked the majority of the German routes and I said majority, because I don't have all of the German routes. None of them are crashing like the three UK routes.
Hello everyone, We've just pushed an update to PlayStation 5 systems that should fix crashes when loading up and starting various UK routes. This included East Coast Main Line, and also South Eastern High Speed, Birmingham Cross City, Midland Main Line as well as the Island Line 2022 BR Class 484 add-on. Our update to PlayStation 4 systems should also fix crashes on Birmingham Cross City. We recognise the deployment of this patch was far from ideal, and apologise for the frustrations that were caused. We'll strive to ensure future patches launch with fewer issues. It should be available now for everyone. I've installed the update and the routes aren't crashing all the time now.
