Hi all, had an issue a.long time ago with a crash totally resetting my status on the hame so now I get nervous when it crashes, anyway I've just tried to play the "catch up" scenario twice and got a crash both times, once when just setting off from Gatwick and then again, just after passing through east Croydon. Pretty sure this didn't happen when I did it before, I left the game alone for a while because of frustration over bugs and then I come back to it and its just no different is it. Do I have to take advice regarding recovering every penny I've spent on this game that clearly is no more fit for purpose than it was upon release? After all if you buy something and it just doesn't work then you'd expect a full refund right?
DTG Alex or whoever is concerned, no comment? You've got my money and thats where it ends for you is it?
No service on London Commuter will load at all for me on ps5. Just crashes as it's about to finish loading
Hello andyscotland, Can I confirm if you have any of the following DLC installed: - East Cornwall Local - Great Western Express - South Eastern High Speed - Southern BR Class 313 EMU Add-On And do you remember any specific timetable you loaded which caused the crash? This is very useful to us as we are working on addressing this currently - thank you
Update: Our QA teams have confirmed if you have Great Western Express installed but not East Coastway the it will cause a crash. As a temporary solution for players affected: Uninstalling GWE to deactivate the layer causing the problem should be a workaround. If you happen to buy ECW to add the missing train that the layer needs it should also work, however this isn't a solution just an advisory as the problem happens when you do not own East Coastway. We are working on a fix.
Hi, I have GWE and SEHS but this wasn't a problem in the past and so far I've only found the issue on the specific scenario I refer to in my post. I'm not really interested in deleting and reinstalling content and nor should I have to, if you can't give me a permanent solution to this issue then I hereby request a refund for all content I've downloaded and I'll just delete the game and never think of it again.
They will give you a permanent solution soon in the form of an update. If you want, you can play a different DLC or a different game altogether until this is fixed. If you want to play London Commuter right now then you will have to uninstall GWE (which I wouldn't want to do) until they bring out a patch (which I suspect will be very soon). Alternatively, you could play SEHS and GWE, which are very nice DLCs, and leave London Commuter alone for a while. Also is it really fair to get a full refund if you have had a fairly significant amount of time playing all your content? I'm not trying to be rude, but I think if you've had a few hours of gameplay, that should justify the price you paid for it.
I hear you but its not really good enough is it considering most of the dlc was available on the previous game
Hmm. I guess not, and I can understand your frustration. At least you seem somewhat reasonable here, unlike some others who have inadvertently vented their frustration on a keyboard in an unruly manner. Still, always good to let DTG know when we are not happy with issues and that they should fix them. This really does make the DLC "unplayable"
