    1. place track as usual
    2. select "create loft" tool and drop a blueprint with desired platform height in 12.png
    3. ensure all x and y offset are zero!

    4. create the platform
      15.png
    5. switch to "route building mode" and select the created platform
    6. change spline meshes according to your wishes (search in meshes folders for _start / _mid /_end)

That’s very useful. Can I ask what happens if the track is curved, does this only cater for straight platforms?

The splines work also in nearly any curved situation. (Adjust segment length according to radius)
Fences, lamps, rivers, roads, etc. are all splines and work in a similar way.

Tried a couple of times and eventually made it work. I'm really impressed and had no idea this tool existed for placing platforms.

Is there any way to make the platforms thinner as it conflicts with tracks on the other side.

I think DTG is exporting this to Blender and does actually construction and model build-up there.
Most complex stations are a single bundled object in the editor.
