Hey I have started building the HSWRS route (Haan, Solingen, Wuppertal, Remscheid, Schwelm). Currently, I have prepared and integrated the latest geospatial data into the editor. Now, I'm moving on to track construction and, in parallel, creating additional environmental details such as buildings, platforms, roads, and prominent features from the surroundings. I'm progressing block by block to gradually bring life to the route. The planned stations and halts include: Haan-Gruiten, Haan, Solingen-Vogelpark, Solingen Hbf, Solingen-Grünewald, Solingen-Mitte, Solingen-Schaberg, Remscheid-Güldenwerth, Remscheid Hbf, Remscheid-Bliedinghausen, Remscheid-Lennep, Remscheid-Lüttringshausen, Wuppertal-Ronsdorf, Wuppertal Rauenthal, Wuppertal-Oberbarmen, Wuppertal-Langerfeld, Schwelm West, Schwelm, Wuppertal-Barmen, Wuppertal-Unterbarmen, Wuppertal Hbf, Wuppertal-Steinbeck, Wuppertal-Zoologischer Garten, Wuppertal-Sonnborn, and Wuppertal-Vohwinkel. The primary train connections that should operate on this route are: RB48 (from Wuppertal Oberbarmen to Solingen Hbf) RE47 (from Solingen Hbf to Remscheid-Lennep) S8 (from Haan-Gruiten to Schwelm) S9 (from Schwelm to Wuppertal-Vohwinkel) VIA S7 (from Solingen Hbf to Wuppertal Hbf) Whether all the original trains in the game will be included is still under consideration. Initially, the focus is on expanding the route and running it with the available assets. The scheduling and proper train composition will be a separate project. Please note that freight traffic is excluded on this route. The primary vehicles mentioned above are intended for passenger transportation. Status: 29.11.2023 Hey Here are some updates on the current status of the HSWRS project, covering the cities of Haan, Solingen, Wuppertal, Remscheid, and Schwelm: The geodata of the route has been successfully processed and imported into the Unreal Editor. The initial objects from the surroundings have already been fully modeled and integrated into the editor. Due to personal commitments, I haven't been able to invest as much time so far, but I see the opportunity to intensify work on expanding the route, especially around the Christmas season. Currently, my focus is on modeling reusable objects such as street signs, mailboxes, power boxes, etc. I look forward to hearing your feedback and collaboratively advancing the project. Looks like you are trying to extend RRO towards Solingen Zwilling knife Factory. if you want to make it right you might as well use the existing RRO Tracks for a segment of the route and then make the new tracks
Hey Leute Unfortunately, I have to inform you that this project will be put on hold for the time being. Due to my involvement in other projects, I don’t have the necessary time to continue this one as planned. I’ve set a date for summer 2025 to reassess whether the capacity will be there to fully resume the project. It would be incredibly cool to keep this going, but for now, it’s just not feasible for me to continue it alone. Therefore, there will be no new content for this track for the time being. Once I’m able to restart the project, there will be a proper plan and roadmap to outline the next steps. I’m hopeful that by then, I’ll find support to help achieve timely progress.
