Hey everyone. Jack here again. Today I am requesting The Irish cross-border service that runs from the Capital city of the Republic of Ireland (Dublin) through the North east coast of Ireland to Belfast, The capital of Northern Ireland. This line runs for 180km (112 miles) through some noticeable cities being Drogheda, Dundalk and Newry before arriving into the heart of Belfast just less than 20km southwest of the titanic. Notable safety systems for this route are CAWS, DSD, TPWS and AWS. Operators for this route Will be these two: 1. Iárnrod Éireann “Irish Rail”! a.) Dart - Metro commuter services b.) Commuter - Commuter services c.) ICR - Intercity services 2. NIR “Northern Ireland Railways”! a.) Enterprise - Long distance services Rolling stock 1. The first request I have is the class 8100/300 “DART” train that runs metro stopper services connecting the south of Dublin to the North of Dublin. This train has a max speed of 100km/h or 62mph 2. Next we have the class 29000 “Commuter” train that runs the commuter services to places like Sligo, Wexford, Maynooth and Dundalk & Drogheda This train has a max speed of 120km/h (75mph) and is a DMU 3. Now we have the class 22000 “DMU” (my personal favorite) this train runs services all over Ireland connect Dublin to some of the biggest cities like Waterford, Cork, Tralee, Limerick, Galway, (sligo, wex etc) and Belfast, and that’s what makes it special. About five of these trainsets were fitted with DSD and AWS so it could run services to Belfast if an Enterprise service was ever short of trains. It has a max speed of 161km/h (100mph) this train should be a DLC as the 29000 could do all the services it does minus the Belfast services and all services from Heuston Our last train is our main train for this route that would be running the full route up to Belfast 4. The class 9000 “Enterprise” train It’s formed of 7 passenger cars + an engine car + a class 201 locomotive. It has a max speed of 161km/h (100mph) and Is fitted with every safety system on the Irish Island this train leaves from Connolly platform N.2 then runs to Belfast Lanyon Place platform N.2. These are the only platforms used by enterprise with the exception of platform 1 at Belfast being used sometimes Stations along this line. This will be going in order in line starting from Dublin Connolly to Belfast following the Mainline + the Howth branch **reminder that (n/a) means not available, it will only show if the station is closed or no trains mentioned here stop there and (L/S) means limited service 1. Dublin Connolly (all trains) 2. Clontarf road (Dart Fairview depot) (dart) 3. Killester (dart) 4. Harmonstown (dart) 5. Raheny (dart) 6. Kilbarrack (dart) 7. Loco hauled era would be more interesting... Class 101 NIR 101 Class - Wikipedia Class 104 CIE 201 Class - Wikipedia Class 111 CIE 071 Class/NIR Class 111 - Wikipedia Class 201 IE 201 Class - Wikipedia Plus the various (C)IE classes that worked across the border.
Excellent idea this should have represented the United Kingdom as a Base TSW 3 route instead of SEHS London St Pancras to Ashford at the same time International. That would require Germany to be represented by an International route too something like Duisburg Utrecht via Zevenaar Emmerich Am Rhein Oberhausen.
It was wither pick this or The route to cork in modern day so I decided I rather this in modern day due to variety
