Cross Platform Progress

So recently I've made the switch over from Xbox to PC recently. I'm really debating whether or not to buy TSW 2 on PC since I really do enjoy the game. I know that I have to repay for all the DLC and preserved collection again which is annoying but I understand why. My question is whether the progress and medals that I earned carry over. I assume stuff like repaints don't carry over but I'm just curious about what transfers and what doesn't.

 

Progress and Medals do not carry over because you are buying the game on a different platform

 

Essentially nothing carries over, so you start from scratch

 

Yeah - Xbox/Windows Store saves are not cross platform - that's not just a TSW thing, the MS save files seem to be proprietary - I've had to start over on a couple of games when my Game Pass ran out.

 

No . Everything that you have on one platform , stays on that platform . Nothing comes across
