Hello Community, a quick question about transferring a profile from TSW2 to TSW3. When I transfer my profile, will the progress I make in part 3 also be transferred to TSW2 or updated there? Thank you very much for your help.
for any new routes no but from what I recall they wouldn't full be updated. As if you have a old route that released prior to TSW3 but it got update in TSW3 and you played a new service on the update route then it wouldn't transfer back.

When you import a TSW2 profile into TSW3, a copy is made. There is no synchronization between the new profile: any progress made in either one will not be synchronized to the other. Let me clarify with an example: I've played DRA in TSW2 and completed all the scenarios, the journeys, and a lot of timetable services. Then, I import this profile into TSW3. At this point, all the progress previously made is exactly the same. Let's say I play some extra services in TSW3. If I load TSW2, I will not see these services as completed, because the TSW2 profile is not updated. Also, if I go now back to TSW2 and finish all the timetable services, this progress will not automatically appear in TSW3. The only way to bring that up is to delete the TSW3 profile and re-import. However, any progress made in the TSW3 profile would be lost completely.
yardem Thank you very much for your help. That was what I wanted to know. Then I'll keep playing TSW2 until I start part 3 (even though I've owned it since release). Have enough to drive in the second part anyway though. And now TSW4 is coming too! Where am I supposed to find the time?
If you transfer your progress from 2 to 3 then 2 stays at those levels eg you drive 5 HST services on GWE when you transfer your profile over then in 3 you drive another 5 services. When you go back to 2 you'll still be at the 5 original services you drove before the transfer
