On most routes, on the Ultra graphics preset, I get a 32-44 framerate, 50 in a few places if I'm lucky. I think the lowest framerate I have gotten is around 24 at Cumberland yard where all the departing trains are lined up. this, of course, is before Clinchfield came out. I'm lucky to get 25fps on it, passing trains drop it down to around 12-14, and the framerate seems just random. I'll be driving down one part of the route, and I'll get maybe 28fps and then a few feet later it drops to 19 for no apparent reason. It's really starting to bug me that I need to have everything set to medium in order to get the framerate above 32, which I can live with. It's really hard to focus on driving with everything stuttering around all the time, and I really, REALLY like the route so far. I just want to enjoy it like all the other stuff I have. however, this could just be a me problem. My hardware is above the recommended but it isn't the best. I've got a Intel core i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz and a MSI GTX1050ti LP, a decent set up in my opinion, but should I be able and expect my game to run fine on maximum graphics? I'm not sure. The other reason it could just be my own fault is that this is the only piece of DLC other than what comes with the game that wasn't in TSW. all of my stuff is preserved collection, and since it may not have all the new and fancy tech of the other and newer routes I'm not sure if this is the way my computer should be reacting. Anyway in short DTG if you would please optimize the route or whatever it's called and get the framerates to not randomly go down to 19 (staying at 30 would be preferable) that would be awesome. and if anyone else is having framerate problems say something so I know that it's not only my problem.
edit: It seems that the scenarios have FPS drops I'm driving a manifest train to Elkhorn right now and I'm getting the usual FPS if only 5-7 lower. previously I had only played the tutorials and the limited power and Greenbriar branch scenarios.
