I was just watching a YouTube video on this line and it is a pretty interesting idea if you ask me. I would love to see the CSX Gainesville Midland Subdivision in the game at some point. It runs 40 miles between Gainesville and Athens Georgia. I thought this would make a good route addon candidate since it is a branch line that serves many industries that rely on CSX. Here is a map of the GM sub. For motive power, they run a lot of GE power on this line so I figured a good candidate for that would be the ES44AH or even the ES40DC. Maybe we could see a return of the GP40-2 but they run mostly GE power on this branch line. Here's an ES44AH that has the number boards on the nose like the AC4400CW: That's all the info I have for right now so let me know if there's any information that I am missing.
CSX ET44AHs are a good suggestion for this route. Then we could get ET44s in UP, NS, CN and BNSF (ET44C4s). Also, the GP40-2 is a good loco for local and yard ops on SPG and this route.
Oh yeah for sure. I mean we have yet to see a Tier 4 unit in this game. This route may make a good candidate for that
