I want the ST70AHs (that's what CSX calls their SD70ACe-T4s). CSX has 10 of them. Perhaps we could get the prototypes or the UP version (SD70AH-T4).
I'm not sure why you would want the nerfed post-2015 models rather than their better predecessors. It's like wanting a '73 Malibu with the gagged motor rather than a '72.
(sorry I accidentally deleted it) since apparently everyone hates that version what about the SD70Ace
Still wouldn't work for CSX, they only owned 20 of them, and sold them to PRLX in 2017. Honestly Union Pacific is the more likely candidate for both the SD70ACe (SD70AH) and the SD70ACe-T4's, as they own a bunch of them, 518 SD70ACe's and 100 SD70ACe-T4's, though 6 ACe's have been wrecked and 1 has been retired.
Idk if DTG would want to do another dlc for sand patch, depending on the sales of the dash 8. We might see these locos for cane creek though, developed by skyhook.
Definitely the SD70ACe Tier 4s the 8900s because those are being ordered to replace non tier 4 locomotives and oldest batch of tier 3 locomotives. The same 8900s CSX can be reskinned as a Union Pacific 3000s if DTG Collaborated with Skyhook Games for Cane Creek. Same thing for CSX ET44AC 3200s-3300s where those become UP 2500s-2600s for Cane Creek.
I don't hate the tier 4's like some seem to do, with that said it clearly makes way more sense to make the standard ACe and closely related M-2 than the T4 model. The latter's fairly uncommon, CSX only have a handful, and UP have a decent number, but certainly not a ton compared to most other units, also I believe quite a few are in storage. Even if you wanted a tier 4 engine the ET44AC seems like the way better option, as it's much more common than it's SD70 counterpart.
