The Shore Line East is a commuter rail line that is operated by CTrail brand, which is owned by Connecticut Department of Transportation or CTDOT. The route is located in Connecticut and is 50.6 miles long with 15 stations. Service begins from New London, Connecticut and ends at Stamford, Connecticut. The line also runs alongside Amtrak's Northeast Regional and Acela services. The route can be set in this year or around the same time as NEC: Boston - Providence.

    A.I. only services

At New Haven Union Station, CT Rail's Hartford Line begins there and uses the same fleet as Shore Line East except for the Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm or MBB Coaches. Hartford Line starts at New Haven Union Station and ends at Springfield Union Station. Furthermore, Amtrak's Hartford Line use the P42DC, Amfleet coaches, and Amfleet Cab Car (yes I know its not in TSW 2 yet) . I doubt DTG would use the GE P40DC on Amtrak's Hartford Line but who knows because DTG usually place incorrect rolling stocks, which turns off a lot of people. Amtrak's Vermonter trains between Washington and New Haven uses the ACS-64 with Amfleet before swapping the ACS-64 and first Amfleet car with the GE P42. Amtrak Valley Flyer(began in 2019) uses the GE P42 with Amfleet coaches, and Amfleet Cab Car.

Excellent idea and make this link to Boston-Providence. By making it as Amtrak Shore Line East Stamford-Providence with M8s Conndot Stamford to New Haven Shore Line East Stamford New London ACS-64 with Amfleet IIs Acela Express Avelia Liberty Stamford Providence via New Haven New London stations. That way you have commuter rail Amtrak Regional and High Speed Trains. Wickford Junction to Providence via Theodore Francis Green Airport requires Boston-Providence for MBTA Locomotives

If they do Connecticut shoreline east it would definitely be awesome to see the scenarios that they include.
