I think it's time for an actual Narrow Gauge TSXXXX Route. The Clear Creek NG route is good, but I think it's time for another Narrow Gauge route. The 64-mile Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad is perfect for a Pro Range Narrow Gauge Steam Route. Not only is it 9 miles more than the Clear Creek narrow-gauge route, it also has some pretty challenging grades and additionally sports two active narrow-gauge diesel locomotives as well. There are even rotary snowplows to assist with the snowstorms that occur at Cumbres Pass.
-The route is 64-miles of 3ft narrow-gauge track.
-There are currently 10 ng steam locomotives (6 of which are still active) and there are two ng diesel locomotives. There are also two other steam locomotives. All of them remain operational to this day.
-The route begins at the Chama Yard in Chama, New Mexico and ends at Antonito, Colorado, which also has a yard similar to the Chama Yard.
-Two trains often meet at various stations throughout their journeys to and from Antonito and Chama.
    -The rollingstock are as follows.
    5 2-8-2 K36 NG Steam Locomotives
    4 2-8-2 K37 NG Steam Locomotives
    1 2-8-2 K27 NG Steam Locomotive
    2 GE 44-Ton Diesel-Electric NG Switcher Locomotives
    1 4-6-0 T12 NG Steam Locomotive
    1 2-8-0 C18 NG Steam Locomotive
All K-Class NG Steam Locomotives have running numbers from 460-497
Both NG GE 44-Tonners have running numbers from 15-19
The 4-6-0 T12 has 168 as its running number
The 2-8-0 C18 has 315 as its running number

Never heard of it but after Googling it I've got to admit it does look good.

Just to note, Mileposts Simulations next route is a narrow gauge steam route, but it's unsure where it's located atm.

It could be the C&T, but still no clear answers.

Are you aware of the Durango and Silverton ng railway which is available in TS20XX. Built by Rick Grout of G-Trax it is only available from the real D&S to raise funds. The link follows:
    https://www.drhs315.org/ds-train-sim/
It costs US $15 has rolling stock and one type of steam loco IIRC a K27 pictures on the site.

The Cumbres and Toltec sounds fantastic. The rotary snowplow is a necessary inclusion for amazing scenarios. This should be a TSW2 route, or the Durango and Silverton.

    This is news.

The route idea also looks like one with potential.

It’s been available at least 5 years but the D&S haven't promoted it except to their members. I can't remember how I found it, I may have just googled D&S and tumbled across it that way.

Yes, I'm aware of that route, but we're talking about The Cumbres And Toltec Scenic Railroad.

...a bit late on that reply, no? I'd say conversation has been idle for a little over two years.

Found this thread by coincidence by searching for infos about this route because i found this here:
    https://ironhorseproductions.co.za/cumbres---toltec.html
Cost 30 bugs and is called beta release. No clue how good the quality really is or why it is in beta status. On the site are two further route, one available, one as Work in progress. Sadly I found no video about that addon, only Trainz-versions of the route

The route is awful, very poorly made and it looks nothing like the real place.

No. I just don't understand the need to mention how old the conversation is. It's not relevant.

Nope. One look at the photos tells me to avoid it like the plague.

How can you say all this without even trying to play this route?! I understand some people like this and others like that. But you are completely wrong abouts its quality. It is very carefully crafted, every asset of it is correctly aligned and on its proper place. Since all assets on this route are very close to the player you can see it very well. I dont really care if it resembles real place or not, I was never their myself in real life. But it is very challenging and very beautiful from my point of view. And very well made. Not a lot of routes out there have such quality.
Just playing it now, I would like to stay and live in that forest in the mountains....
